Healthy skin shows the world that you are not only living well on the outside, but also on the inside. The most important thing that you can do for your skin is to use natural body care products that forgo chemical ingredients that can have an impact on your overall health and well-being.

Your skin might be a protective barrier, but it also acts like a sponge. The chemicals you put on your skin can get absorbed into your body, meaning the products that you use each and every day to keep your skin looking beautiful, can be filled with ingredients that can build-up and cause problems beneath the surface

Like the food we eat, switching to wholesome skin-care products that are not over-manufactured and don’t contain unnecessary artificial additives can have a dramatic impact on our health. But when making the switch to natural body care and cosmetics, it can be a bit overwhelming knowing where to start, so we want to provide a nice foundation for your natural body care regiment.

Here are the essentials of our natural beauty line, and what makes them essential:

Hair oil

You may not think about how much damage your hair takes. Even if you use the minimum of synthetic products, don’t dye your hair, and keep heat styling to a minimum, your hair is still exposed to all types of abuse and pollution just going about your day to day life. Hair oil provides a natural defense that moisturizes your hair, soothes stress, repairs damage, and leaves a lasting beautiful shine.

Body oil

Just like your hair is exposed to damage, so is your skin. Particularly in the cool dry months, but really all year long. Your skin gets zapped of its nutrients leaving you with dryness, itchiness, and damage in return. Your skin is your body’s largest organ, and natural body oil can help to give back what the environment takes away. Body oil is not only for massages and is a must-have in any natural skincare regimen.

Body butter

When you need deep, intense, and lasting moisture, body butter may serve your skin better than body oil. Utama Spice natural body butter uses seaweed and aloe vera to lock in moisture while soothing damaged skin, while different essential oils soothe, invigorate, or otherwise invoke feelings of calm and happiness.

Face masks

Even with regular care, stress and the elements can really do their work on the skin of your face. Your face hosts some of the most delicate skin on your body, and face serums bring your face back to a healthy and radiant shine. Our face masks address concerns like anti-aging, dullness, and acne using natural ingredients proven effective over the course of hundreds or thousands of years.

Lip balm

The skin on your lips is delicate, and when it pertains to botanical cosmetics, natural lip balm should have a place in every purse, pocket, car, or cosmetics bag. Natural lip balm helps to lock in moisture so uncomfortable chapping is a worry of the past.

Liquid soap

For hands or body, Utama Spice liquid soaps are SLS-free meaning they keep you clean without stripping your skin of the natural oils it needs to keep healthy.

I totally agree. We need to go back to using more natural ingredients in and on our bodies as our ancestors did. We would be much more better off.

Thank you for not using SLS in your soaps! Not only are they tough on the skin, but also the environment!

It seems like chemicals are in almost all the store bought beauty products these days. You really have to be a label reader to avoid them.
